CURVY LADY CUP / 013

My Curvy Lady series pieces are made in small batches. This piece was made in spring of 2025. I added garnet sand, collected from the Maine coast, to a white stoneware clay. The iron oxide in the sand creates dark, metallic speckles throughout the piece, and reacts with the materials of the glazes to add rusty spots and streaks throughout. All of my work is fired at a community studio in a cone 10 reduction gas kiln, which allows for many variations of results.

• This cup holds approximately 16 oz of liquid.
• This item is food-safe and dishwasher-safe, though I recommend hand-washing to lengthen the life of the piece.
• I will never intentionally sell a faulty piece, though things like hairline cracks occasionally remain unseen while inspecting. A replacement of your choice of another available piece (of similar value) or a full refund will be issued if piece is deemed as defective and unusable.
